On This Site

This site sets no cookies of its own. It loads no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social widgets and no third-party scripts, and it keeps nothing in your browser’s local or session storage. That is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss: there is nothing for one to ask about.

The Family Board studio sends the words you type to our server so it can set them on the board and tell you whether they fit. Those words are not stored until you buy, and no cookie is set while you type.

At Checkout

When you choose to buy, you leave this site for Stripe’s checkout page. Stripe sets the cookies it needs to take a payment safely, remember the checkout session while you fill it in, and detect fraud. These are strictly necessary for the payment and are governed by Stripe’s own privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We receive none of them.

Server Logs

Our host, Vercel, records the technical details of each request, such as the address requested, the time and your IP address, to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to follow you between visits or across other sites, and they expire on Vercel’s standard schedule.

Your Controls

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies changes nothing on this site. Blocking them on Stripe’s checkout page may stop a payment from completing. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal, though with no tracking to switch off, it changes nothing here either.

Changes and Questions

If we ever add a cookie, this page will name it, say what it does and how long it lasts, and the change will be dated on the policy changes page. PaintedApp, LLC answers questions at support@painted.app.
